In-Clinic Consultation
Whole-child care in a collaborative clinical setting
60 minutes | Parkville | Pregnancy to 5 years | $217
Sleep is often just the beginning. This 60-minute consultation takes a whole-child approach, with allied health referrals available when you need them.
A joined-up approach for families who need more than just sleep support
For many families, what looks like a sleep problem is connected to something else: feeding challenges, sensory sensitivities, developmental questions, or a mother whose own wellbeing hasn’t had enough attention. This consultation looks at the whole picture, in a professional clinical setting in Parkville, with access to a multidisciplinary care network when broader support would help.
Whether you’re pregnant and preparing for newborn sleep, navigating something complex, or simply prefer the reassurance of a clinical environment, you’ll leave with a personalised plan, and the knowledge that trusted referrals are available if you need them.
What we cover
Every consultation is guided by your family’s specific needs. Below is the broad scope of what this session can address.
Sleep and developmental guidance tailored to your child’s age and stage
Feeding, regulation, and sensory sensitivities where these intersect with sleep
Maternal and family wellbeing as part of the broader picture
Warm referrals to trusted allied health professionals within the clinic network
A whole-child, whole-family approach; not sleep considered in isolation
Ideal for
This face-to-face consultation suits families with layered concerns, as well as those who simply prefer a clinical setting with collaborative support available.
Families whose concerns extend beyond sleep: feeding, development, regulation, or maternal health
Those who’d value access to a multidisciplinary care network and warm referrals
Expectant parents who want to feel informed and prepared before baby arrives
Anyone who’s seen multiple providers separately and wants someone to look at the whole picture

Many families come purely for sleep guidance and leave with exactly that. The referral pathway is available if it’s needed — it’s not the default outcome.

My approach is flexible and methods are discussed with your and your family before making decisions. I generally encourage responsive settling which ensures your infant is able to develop some independence, while still having their emotional needs met. Most importantly we will aim to identify the reason why your baby is struggling to settle and support their emotional needs to help them feel safe and secure, so they settle more easily.
Please note that I don’t use Controlled Crying Methods.

Yes — this is one of the only consultations available prenatally. A great place to start if you want to feel prepared before your baby arrives.
